Steep - Daily Definition

Filed under: Daily Definition — Nicky @ 9:28 am

Today’s daily definition is steep.  This is an homage to my favorite of all drinks, tea.  Of course, as you can see from the definition steeping doesn’t just apply to tea.  This definition comes from lookwayup.com.

Steep -

[v] sit or let sit in boiling water to extract the flavor; “the tea is brewing”.
[v] let sit in a liquid to extract a flavor or to cleanse; “steep the blossoms in oil”; “steep the fruit in alcohol”.

Happy tea drinking!
