One of my favorite places to visit is North Conway, New Hampshire.  For those of you not from New England, North Conway is a cute little town in the White Mountains.  My husband and I have been going there for a number of years.  The best thing about this region is all the outdoor activities that are literally right outside your door.  You can hike (my personal favorite), you can ski, you can bike, you can kayak. (Well, you get the picture)  With such a huge tourist population, it is no wonder there are a number of places to eat.  One of the places we like to go is Bellini’s Ristorante.  As the name suggests, this place is an Italian Restaurant.  They make all of the usual dishes including fettuccine Alfredo, brick oven pizza, and lasagna.  They also offer seafood, poultry, and beef options. 

The restaurant is adorable, with nicely colored walls and soft lighting.  It is only open for dinner and you can tell they work to make it a nice dinner.  The prices are a little on the high side, but it’s fun to splurge every once and a while (although, the prices in the White Mountains tend to be on the high side anyway).  Some of my favorites include the fried ravioli appetizer and the pasta primavera with olive oil, garlic sauce.  They also have a martini bar, which is kind of fun, if you want to grab a drink out with friends.  They make the usual desserts including tiramisu, biscotti, and cheesecake. The speciality for dessert is their own gelato and sorbetto in a variety of flavors like pistachio, spamoni, strawberry, coconut, and raspberry.  If you live in New England you can pick up their gelato flavors at your local Hannafords. 

Overall, the food is quite good.  I do find their salad dressing a little strong - it has a big raw garlic kick to it.  The breads they serve are usually warm and quite tasty.  You have to ask for balsamic if you want it to combine with your olive oil for dipping.  The entrees are tasty.  I have had a few better versions of things elsewhere, but this place is just so charming and the experience is so nice I would definitely suggest it for a nice night out in Conway.
